Woke to a chilly but sunny Sunday morning, after breakfast I set off to explore the Tamar Valley, stopping at Beaconsfield wher I visited the Grubb Shaft Gold & Heritage Museum which was informative and enjoyable, I then continued on to Greens Beach and explored the Narawntapu National Park and enjoyed the spectacular vista from the West Head lookout.
After the walk I was ready for lunch and developed a craving for fish n chips so continued on to Beauty Point where I had the best fish n chips I have ever had , on the bank of the Tamar River.
I then crossed the River and visited Georgetown and Low Head, after some sightseeing I continued back to my base at Launceston just as wether turned a little nasty.........decided to spend rest of afternoon in the warmth and comfort of my caravan ! ! !
