Day 2 - Hobart to Franklin


	After a walk around the Hobart Botanic Gardens, we turned south, headed for the Tahune Airwalk. It didn't take long to get out of the city and soon we were enjoying the drive through the Huon Valley. The Franklin River is simply beautiful. The drive to get to the Tahune Airwalk is through tall, lush forest. There was a light drizzle but this only seemed to intensify how green and fresh everything seemed. The walk itself was quite an experience. It was very peaceful and humbling to stand among the giant trees. After our visit to the airwalk we headed back to Franklin and settled into our accommodation for the night, Kay Creek Cottage. The cottage was cute and cosy, and had everything we needed for a quiet night in!
