Day 3 - Franklin to Derwent Bridge


	After a good night's sleep, we headed north bound for Derwent Bridge. We decided to stay at Derwent Bridge because we also wanted to spend a night at Strahan, and were trying to avoid long drives so that we'd have more time to see things! Our drive took us via New Norfolk, a picturesque town northwest of Hobart. We stopped off for some photos and a browse in the crafts shop next to St Matthew's church. We were keen to visit the Oast House Hop Museum, so followed the signs and got out to have a look. Unfortunately, it seems that it's no longer open to the public (the friendly cat who jumped the fence to brush up against our legs suggested it's probably now a private residence). We made a detour to Something Wild, a private animal rehabilitation park (not government funded). It's a small park but worth a visit even if it's just to support the work that they do! We arrived at Derwent Bridge in time for a yummy meal at the local pub.
