Day 4 - Derwent Bridge to Strahan


	We're so glad we stayed at Derwent Bridge overnight. It meant that in the morning, we were able to get up for an early walk around Lake St Clair! Perhaps it's just as beautiful at all times of the day, but to us it seemed that the morning was perfect - still crisp and misty and oh so peaceful. Before we set out on one of the tracks, we managed to spot a platypus in the lake. The water was so still that the only movement on the water was the ripples as the platypus did his (or her) thing. On the walking track, we were greeted by a pademelon. It didn't seem to fussed by us, it just hopped across the track (within about a metre of us) and continued grazing. Brilliant! Back in the car, we broke up the drive by stopping for a walk at Nelson Falls. This is a really easy-access walk that most people could manage without much effort. The falls at the end were beautiful, although the walk itself was pretty good! We stopped off for a bite to eat before reaching Strahan and our accommodation.
